In 2019, DAS began working exclusively on in-house projects and no longer provides services to outside companies.

David is the Owner and Lead Animator of Digital Animation Services, located in Denver, Colorado. For over 2 decades, David has been creating unique, computer generated content for a large variety of clients and projects, ranging from custom character creation and animation to architectural visualizations and special effects. His diverse skills include 3D modeling, animation, video editing, scripting, matchmoving, motion capture and real-time content creation, amongst others.

From 2000 – 2017 David was also the Senior Animator at Fay Engineering Corporation, one of the nation's leading forensic and accident reconstruction firms at the time. In 2017 David also began working at WSP, USA, one of the world’s largest multinational engineering firms, as a Senior Design Visualization Specialist, Co-Directing the Real-Time and VR Lab there before his retirement in 2019.

He is the longest tenured Autodesk Certified 3ds Max Instructor in Colorado. As one of the region’s leading 3ds Max experts, David was highly sought after as an instructor. He provided software training for Sterling Ledet Associates, Initial.aec, and Cad-1 Inc., all Autodesk Certified Training Centers. He was also a faculty member at the Art Institute of Colorado where he served in the Industrial Design, Computer Animation and Continuing Education departments. David has created and led custom training programs for well over 100 companies and individuals over his 15 years as an instructor and trainer.

David has an Associates Degree in Computer Animation from the Colorado Institute of Art and a Masters Degree in Music from Northwestern University.
