Tongue Rig in 3ds Max

Working through some options for this type of rig. It's an odd problem since a tongue is so organic and doesn't settle easily into normal types of rigging. I've settled on this rig knowing I need to export the tongue mesh as a bone skeleton for Unreal Engine. I managed to avoid the need for any custom scripting as well though I have a few versions using that. I hope to post a video on how I did this sometime but those tuts usual require a bit more time than I have right now, but I'll at least try to add a quick written breakdown soon.
