This unique machine was a cornerstone of my old career as a clarinetist, making reeds from scratch. After a "blank" is prepared, the reed is made from a "Master" by grinding it down to match the same shape, just like an old key copier. This was a personal project early in my animation career but one kinda close to my heart.
