In the early days of Denver's light rail expansion many firms were answering the RFP and competing to design stations. The location in Olde Town Arvada posed some unique challenges and in order to help secure it's bid, J. F. Sato & Associates hired DAS to create a fly-thru animation of their design. It was incomplete at the time but the challenge was placing the new design within the complex area bounded by the existing freight lines and historic buildings. You'll notice in the images at the end I was given an early period archival photo from the 1900's and asked to show the current revised design juxtaposed with the old photo. Sato did not win the bid but I'm proud of the work, which for 2005, was pretty good.
