Like many projects starting about 2 decades ago, there was a push in many downtown areas of cities to make them more pedestrian friendly, widening the sidewalks, creating space for businesses to expand outside and limting traffic and safety issues for pedestrians. This was another large scale (at the time) and challenging visualization brought to DAS by Winston Associates. I again got the opportunity to work with Chase Mullen there who modeled and provded DAS with most of the buildings as well as some of the critical detail models he built in Sketchup.
